BEFORE:I have been wanting to install some board and batten in my living room for some time now, and I finally decided to try it out in my small foyer to see if I could handle doing a larger project. I must say it was fairly easy. I went to Lowes and bought general purpose lattice for my vertical strips, and door casing for my horizontal. I then painted them White Mount in Semigloss (Olympic). I love how it turned out and I'm hoping to recreate this look in my living room.

Wow! What a difference! The board and batten looks amazing! I am wanting to do this in my entryway and powder room!!
Be sure to check out a wonderful site called Design Sponge. They have a section all on before and afters that have some of the best ideas. Some of them are beyond what I can ever do, but I seem to always get a great idea to make my own. I think it is right up your alley!
